I'm so sorry that I haven't been here lately.

April has just disappeared, with communication problems, school holidays and on going health issues.

We had no phone or internet for most of the month.

I have been doing a little bit of craft, mainly for my secret sister and as I forgot to but in the reveal card with my last parcel I still can't show you.

In April we saw a new Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue.

I think it is the best mini we have had in about 2 years.

Shave For a Cure

This Darian our Eldest son, he is 16 year old.

He has decided to take part in "Shave for a Cure".

Which is a big thing for him, the last time I wanted him to get a hair cut I had to bribe him with pizza which is favorite food.

 

He has decided to do this crazy thing for an amazing cause( His words). 

I've joined the Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand (LBC) in their effort to get 10,000 people shaving in a mass expression of solidarity. 

That's one shavee for each one of the estimated 10,000 New Zealanders living with a blood cancer or condition like leukaemia.LBC is the national charity dedicated to supporting patients and their families living with blood cancers and related blood conditions, this support can last months or even years.Shave for a Cure is LBC's signature fundraising event.

 LBC receives no government funding.

23 Years Ago Yesterday

23 Years ago Yesterday at 11am (well maybe a bit late) I arrived the church to marry Paul.

Happy Anniversary Darling.

I love you more today than when I said "I do".

We have had a good 23 years together.

Lots of milestones happy and sad.

Three beautiful children and 3 we will meet one day in heaven.

Thanks for your patience Paul. 

I look forward to the rest of our life together.

Wacky Hair Day.

Today was Wacky Hair Day at school today.

It was a fundraiser for 'Shave for a Cure', which is is Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand's biggest fundraising event.

Kylie and Hadliegh (parents) are going to be shavees.

I coloured hair wax with food colouring.

Here's the wacky pose to go with the hair, he took out the prize for best hair.

I am taking part of a secret sister swap.

So there are some great crafting been going on here, but I can' show you until May.

Here is what I received from my ss earlier this month.

 This beautiful card is using the stamp set is ' French Foliage'.

It's a set that I don't own, why I don't know as I love Autumn and the colours of autumn.

The colour combo is Garden Green, More Mustard and Cajun Craze.

This a altered notebook to match the card.
